There Are Only 11 State Universities, 1 Central Universities, 4 Premier Professional Institutes In The State.

State Government Is Committed To Eradication Of Poverty And Empowerment Of The Youth By Spread Of Education In The State.  The Government Has Realized The Acute Shortage Of Educational Facilities And Is Pursuing The Policy Of  Enhancement Of Educational Infra-Structure  In The State By Establishment Of Private Universities.  A Unique Private Universities Act Has Been Passed To Attract Private Players In Quality Higher-Education.

Educational  Programmes Will Be  Related  To  Local  Needs.  Specialised Teaching, Training And  Research  Activities  Will Be Provided For By  The Proposed University.

Education Will Be Imparted For The Various Courses By Way Of Both ( A ) Conventional Method – Class-Room Study And ( B ) Distance Education Mode.

The State Needs Additional Universities To Cater To The Needs And Aspirations Of The State And Its Populace And Spreads Basic Education In A Planned Manner. Besides Conventional Education, The University Will Introduce Short-Term Vocational Courses To Meet The Immediate Requirements Of The Industry And Economy An Also Lead To Self Employment Through Conduct Of Vocational Education And Training In Various Technical, Vocational And Professional Courses Needed For Development Of The Commerce, Economy And Industry Of The State .

The University Will Not Confine Itself To Impart Education And Training In The Much Needed Professional And Vocational Courses To But Shall Also Endeavor To Fortify The Local Populace With The Tools And Techniques To Enable Its Graduates To Generate Self-Employment Prospects.  This University Will Complement The Governmental Efforts By Promoting The Governmental Schemes In This Context.

Traditional Education Coupled With Working Knowledge Of The Local Language, Hindi And English And Development Of Skills In Various Vocational And Other Functional Areas Are Required To Provide Fully Trained Workers To Meet The Growing Requirements Of The Developing Industry, Trade And Commerce Of The State.  This University Will Cater To This Essential Objective Of Education In The State.

The Proposed University Seeks To Add To The Existing Educational Facilities For The Students In This Region And Thereby Reduce The Gap Between Large Students Aspirations And Acutely Less Facilities Available For Higher Education In The Region.
