Board of Directors has constituted the Academic Board comprising over 20 permanent Members. Members of the Academic Board are mainly Educationists and specialists in various functional areas of Business Administration and Business Management including Professors in Management disciplines from other Universities in Delhi to work on assignment basis,
 
 
 
Training and Students

After Confirmation of Admission and Registration as Student Members, Education and Teaching of Student Members Registered for All Courses are conducted in the Coaching and Students Educational Centres established by the Institute in Strict Accordance with the Systems and Methods of Education, Teaching and Training and Curriculla of Studies and Syllabus of Courses Prescribed.

The Education, Teaching and Training of Students is conducted under complete control, direction, regulation and supervision of the Institute.

IBAM EDUCATIONAL CENTRES ESTABLISHED BY THE INSTITUTE :

Presently, the Institute has established over 15 Centres in different States of the country including rural, tribal and backward areas

EDUCATION AND TRAINING :

SEMINARS, GROUP DISCUSSIONS AND MANAGEMENT PROGRAMMES :

Centres organise seminars, group discussions among students and with professionals for exchange of ideas and views and also provide Management training programs like effective decision making, time management, quality control, etc., out of numerous activities directed towards cultivation of management skills and techniques.
The Centres conduct on-job training programmes and in-factory, in-office training programs aimed at enabling the student to acquire practical know-how and get acquainted with actual working conditions in the present day trade, commerce and industry.
Through compulsory students participation in the above training programmes, it is ensured, that they are able to tackle any commitments, situations and problems in their respective  professional career.

ACADEMIC AND TEACHING FACULTY OF THE INSTITUTE :

Board of Directors has constituted the Academic Board comprising over 20 permanent Members.  Members of the Academic Board are mainly Educationists and specialists in various functional areas of Business Administration and Business Management including Professors in Management disciplines from other Universities in Delhi to work on assignment basis, Management Consultants and Professionals and senior and middle Management personnel in Private and Public Sector Undertakings.

Academic Board has constituted Board of Examiners and Panel of Paper Setters in addition to the Syllabus Committee, Committee for Curriculla of Studies, Committee for Courses of Studies, Teaching and Educational Programmes Committee, Equivalence Committee & Examinations Committee and such other Boards, Committees and Sub Committees regulate and control the Academic functioning of the Institute.  A large number of Members of the Academic Board and its Academic Committees and Sub Committees are renowned experts and researchers in the field of Management from India  and abroad.

ADMINISTRATION AND TEACHING FACULTY OF THE CENTRES :

Institute prescribes minimum qualifications for Directors of its Students Educational Centres as also for teaching Faculty thereof.

Centres have whole-time Professors, Lecturers and Assistant Lecturers in addition to part-time Faculty and Visiting Faculty.  The Centres have teaching staff mainly from Consultants in practice, Lecturers and Professors in the local colleges and universities and senior personnel in local public and private sector undertakings.

MID - TERM ASSIGNMENTS :

After completion of about 75 % of the Course of Studies during each semester, the Institute sends Mid - Term Assignments directly to students being in the form of question papers and case laws, etc. in each Subject Paper.  The solved Mid - Term Assignments are evaluated out of the maximum marks of 20 % in each Subject Paper.  Assessment of Mid - Term Assignments forms a part of Examination results and incorporated during computation of results.

STUDY NOTES AND LESSONS FOR DISTANCE EDUCATION :

The Institute sends Lecture Notes and lessons directly to its Student Members from time to time as per the Delivery Schedule.

In addition thereto, the Students are compulsorily required to enrol with Students Educational Centres and undergo teaching at such Centres to supplement the knowledge gained by lecture notes and lessons.

EDUCATION, COACHING AND TRAINING OF STUDENTS :

Education and Training for the Course and Examination is advanced level of teaching, training and development of skills and tools of Business Administration and Business Management coupled with Specialised Training in specialised fields of the functional activities chosen by the Candidate.  Continued emphasis is laid on advanced level training and education in specialisation Subject Papers.  On Job training and education in departments of specialised fields in the local Industrial and Commercial Houses is compulsory.  The Institute has already established linkages with local Industrial and Commercial Houses, Public and Private Sector Undertakings for such practical on Job training to its students.  In addition thereto, Project  Work on a topic related to the area of specialisation chosen by the student is compulsory.  Linkages have already been established by the Institute with local Industrial and Commercial Houses, Private and Public Sector Undertakings enabling the Students to undertake Project Work in such Organisations.

ATTENDANCE AND MEDIUM OF TEACHING AND EXAMINATIONS - ALL COURSES :

1) Attendance in ALL the courses is compulsory and students shall be required to attend     75% of the attendance      prescribed during the course.
2) Subjects to be taught as per the prescribed syllabus and courses of study of the Institute of Business Administration and Management.
3) The medium of instruction, teaching and Examination is English language only.
